 Her laugh broke the silence. And he could have sworn that the world had gone quiet. In that moment, he could only see her, her smile growing as that beautiful sound filled the air. Her eyes shining as the sun reflected its light on them. (it didn't take long) His heart felt full as he realized life would never feel as bright after having lived that wholesome moment. He couldn't describe his feelings, but without even noticing he was laughing too, both sounds colliding perfectly.

She couldn't remember the last time she had laughed for this long, but she knew she didn't want it to stop. She felt the sound running through her veins, warming her skin, filling that emptiness that had been sitting in her stomach for far too long. Tears got to her eyes, but for once, there wasn't pain in them, just a feeling of lightness. She looked at him, standing in front of her, all of his teeth showing as he laughed too. And for a moment, she really believed that everything would be OK again.
